Seeking 3-dimensional artwork submissions depicting objects which hold the wisdom and embodiment of Self as a Sacred Vessel.

Submissions Open April 1, 2024

MUSEA Intentional Creativity Museum is excited to announce a Call for Art Submissions for the Sacred Vessels Museum Exhibit.

Dreaming into the possibilities of creating with paper clay or other sculpting mediums (e.g., cement, concrete, Pal Tiya, organic "basket weaving" materials, etc.), we are seeking 3-dimensional artwork that embodies Self as a Sacred Vessel.

The process of using your hands to sculpt a container which holds the sacred wisdom that lies deep within yourself is life changing. The art that manifests is inspiring and impactful to all those who take in the structures. The MUSEA Museum invites you to make a huge impact on those who witness this display of Sacred Vessels during our Exhibit.

What wisdom do you hold?

We are all gifted with immeasurable wisdom - the Ancestors ensure our edification. Share your creative wisdom through sculpture and the gift of Self as a Sacred Vessel. You are invited to interpret this art call in a way that reflects your personal artistic style. However, here are some examples to help spark your creativity:

  • Mixed media altered bottles and/or boxes
  • Handcrafted candle holders
  • Sculpted figurines

Each vessel submitted must contain some aspect of sculpture using the sculpting medium of your choice. A decorative bottle that has paper clay and embellishments added would meet this requirement. In addition, the vessel must be able to hold another object - water, candle, sacred trinkets, etc.

This is an art call for 3-dimensional submissions to be included in this virtual art exhibit. MUSEA Intentional Creativity Museum will host a complimentary Virtual Show of the exhibit that will include presentations by CURATE Shiloh Sophia, and the Museum CoCurator Team on May 14, 2024.
