She Evokes her feelings and gives them tangible form.

She Channels the vessel of her creations by the gentle touch of her hands.

She Honors her design through symbols, images, messages from her conscious mind.

She Opens her heart by giving the antidote of unconditional love.

She Embodies her craft by the sensual movement of her body.

She Sanctifies herself and her surroundings by the blessings of her spirit.

About The Exhibit

Women of Color in Leadership is an exhibition of art hosted by the Intentional Creativity® Museum showcasing the artwork of MUSEA’s Sacred ECHOES of the Well sisterhood circle + women in the MUSEA community who self-identify as Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color.

MUSEA Museum presents to you this exhibition to give vocalization to the cultural voices, heritage and traditions of the Asian, Native American, Latina, Black, and other Cultures of Color.

This art exhibit was inspired by former Vice President Kamala Harris whose vision to work and stand for all people awakened our innovation to offer this exhibit and to provide a platform for Women of Color around the world to have a voice through art. Women of Color have contributed tremendously in the political, social, economic, civil, voting rights and feminist movements throughout history around the world.

The Women of Color in Leadership Exhibit represents how Women of Color are redefining and restructuring their identity, their culture and their heritage. Throughout history, Women of Color have been and still are being underrated and underrepresented in the art world. This marginalization has limited their role in the arts, especially for artists who use art as a vehicle for activism to address their history of gender and race, and to raise awareness to the injustice and violence in their communities.

A Woman of Color sounds her voice through the deep well of her womb. She echoes her art through a vibration that travels many miles because she shares her past, she stands in the present, and she is the rock that moves mountains of the future.

Echoes! Echoes! Echoes! Women of Color in Leadership are on the Rise!

A Woman of Color in Leadership knows how to wield the magic wand of her brush and continues to carry the dream and the torch.

This exhibit echoes the dream of thousands of women of color around the world, that one day their diversity will not stand in the way of equality and they will be included fairly.

Creating intentionally has an amazing ability to reveal your truth, expand your consciousness, and reveal your voice. This is our one true power: the curation of consciousness.
