Uma Joy, Olivia Marie, and Niccole Blaze — are so excited to invite you to a heart-centered, soul-nourishing event near the beautiful town of Tubac, Arizona this fall!
Join us for 4 unforgettable days of art, music, nature, and joyful connection at the stunning Tubac Ranch, nestled in the heart of the High Sonoran Desert.
We will gather on the ancestral lands of the O’odham people, in deep reverence and gratitude for the original stewards of this sacred desert landscape.
There’s a special kind of magic among the towering Saguaros — and we want to tap into it with YOU. Together, we’ll harmonize between painting and song, laughter and stillness, movement and rest.

Between the Land and the Sky, we will meet you there, where you can:
- Create your own meaningful painting through guided, intentional creativity practices taught by Uma and Olivia;
- Be Serenaded by live music, sung by Niccole Blaze. Her music will touch your heart and spirit;
- Immerse yourself in the sacred land and peaceful rhythm of ranch life — enjoy the pools, sauna, or perhaps a scenic horseback ride;
- Perhaps choose to stroll through the art scene in Tubac;
- Allow yourself to be nurtured by organic healthy meals daily;
- Schedule a yummy massage (if you want to indulge your senses further);
- Enjoy 3 nights of cozy, comfortable lodging on-site at Tubac Ranch;
- Bathe in laughter, connection, rejuvenation, and soulful community.

It is true - No experience is needed
Uma and Olivia will gently guide you through a simple painting process while the experence is enhanced by the soulful music of Niccole Blaze, opening our hearts to the beauty within and bringing it alive onto the canvas.
You don't need to know anything about it ( art, music, the desert...), you don't need to be a great or experienced painter - all that is requested is that you show up with an open heart and open mind to meet yourself and allow that which is inside to come forth. Your Muse guides you the rest of the way and we will be there supporting you too.

High Sonoran desert is the most diverse desert in the world. Most every plant has proven to have significant value to native people and most plants are used for food, medicine, construction, etc. Different than the Sonoran Desert of Phoenix, the High Sonoran Desert features rich vegetation like mesquite trees, fruit trees and tropical plants.

Olivia Marie Oso is in LOVE with life. For the past twenty years, artistic expression has been her path. She is a 2015 graduate of the Color of Woman training and is a certified Teacher and Intentional Creativity coach.
"I have come to know what my deepest passion is.. (to paint what is inside my heart). It is my belief that when we know what our ‘gifts’ are and in turn share them in the world, we experience personal healing which then brings healing to the planet.

Uma Joy is a 2013 Color of Woman Graduate (as offered by Maestra Shiloh Sophia) and has been teaching and sharing Intentional Creativity® since. She has additionally studied with Mandala Master Paul Heussenstamm since 2009.
Uma has been a healing arts practitioner for 40+ years, is a mother to 2 adult children and Gramma to 3. She lives in Taos, New Mexico, US.

Niccole's intention in the music she plays is to
ponder places in our human stories. She states "We
all have a light to shine and music helps elevate
and connect us all!”
Niccole has been in the music business for over 25
years, and has opened for some great artists (such
as; Crosby, Stills and Nash, Olivia Newton John, and
Shawn Colvin, just to name just a few!) She has
created over 9 albums of original heart-felt tunes
spanning from folk, rock, country and blues. With a
big voice & heart, and a story-telling style, she is
unafraid to point her guitar and voice into a cupid
arrow, that indeed hits the target of listeners' hearts!

Is There A Refund Policy?
There is a 50% deposit for the retreat. Cancellations requested before August 1, 2025 will be available for a refund less $200 Cancellations after that time will be considered if the space is re-filled. Full refunds will be available if the retreat is cancelled by Tubac Ranch or the teachers of this retreat.
Accommodation refunds are determined with Kal and Staff at Tubac Ranch.
