“I want to start by thanking all of our members, guests and subscribers for your support, enthusiasm, and regular presence at our Museum Shows and events over the past year and a half of our virtual Museum being open. When Shiloh Sophia honored me with the Curatorial Directorship, I felt like I was stepping in to the most meaningful work of my life.
We have really co-created something remarkable together – a membership community of artists that celebrate each other, that desire to be a healing presence in the world, and who share a devotional practice of Intentional Creativity. We are also catalyzed by the presence of our museum guests and subscribers who regularly attend our events, comment, uplift, and celebrate art in community with us.
In these times of global challenges and the doors of so many art museums, galleries, and community centers closing, we have found a resilient way forward together – one in which we are stronger together, able to love what we love, to access self-expression, continue with meaningful holding actions, and allow the nurturing gifts of beauty and creativity to fortify us individually and collectively.
This is at the visionary heart center of the work of the Intentional Creativity Foundation, who state:
“Our focus on creativity and culture is summoned from the deepest heart within our community to serve the planet and all beings into the future. Our unique part is to steward the contemporary creative and symbolic arts as part of the story we are telling about who we are as a people at this time. Artists and writers have always been the storytellers of each epoch – shaping how the story is told, what parts, and in what way.”
We are artists. We are storytellers. We are consciously and lovingly shaping our own lives and the lives of those around us. And the ripples move out.
The Intentional Creativity Foundation and all it sponsors holds me for the telling and shaping of a very good story – one that represents my own deeply held values, aspirations and deepest care for the earth and all that is alive upon it.
Thank you for supporting this good story continuing to be told!”
